The series finale of Dexter has been branded the ‘lamest’ in recent TV history There were a few compelling questions questions that had to be resolved in the final hour, including would Dexter Michael C. By the end of the hour, Hannah and young Harrison were safe in Buenos Aires waiting for Dexter to join them. But back in Miami, things had gone tragically awry. Saxon shot Deb as she attempted to arrest him. She was left in a coma with no hope of recovery.

Edit Amanda is Dexter’s girlfriend, and in various episodes it is confirmed that she’s into necrophillia, though some scenes contradict this. It’s implied that though she is in fact a necrophilliac, Amanda is simply in denial about it. Her appearance is similar to that of Princess Daisy from the Mario franchise, similar to how Nina looks like Princess Peach.
Sep 23, · Dexter S08E “Remember the Monsters?”. It’s kind of fitting that it ended this way. For a long time (dating back to the third season), I’ve wondered whether Dexter was actually a good show.

He then moved on to the Temptations, where he replaced the troubled David Ruffin. Dennis himself was released by the group in but returned three years later though he was let go on two more occasions.
In this thrilling episode, there are many riveting twists and turns. And Doakes, OH Doakes, where have you been, old friend!? Though we knew most of the recalled details from Seasons 1 and 2, there were a few tidbits we only speculated before, such as the affair between Doakes and LaGuerta. Though he was a real son of a bitch and not exactly Mr Warm and Fuzzy, we now look back at him with fondness, knowing the truth, that he was never the Bay Harbor Butcher.
And what of Maria? Captain LaGuerta is highly politically motivated and without any sense of scruples when it comes to the politics of her job.
10 days ago · In a refreshingly candid new interview, Dexter’s Michael C. Hall opens up about whether or not there’s more serial killing in his character’s future.
Dubbed the Ice Truck Killer by Miami Metro PD, Brian is actually Dexter’s older brother and uses his victims in an elaborate scheme to help Dexter remember his past and reunite them as a family. Dexter eventually uncovers his origins, but rejects Brian in favor of the life he has managed to live using The Code of Harry. Knowing Brian will never stop trying to “free” him from his normal life, Dexter kills him, making it look like a suicide. Brian visits Miami Metro a few times to meet with Debra.
Secondary Antagonists The secondary antagonists for this season include: Carlos Guerrero – a powerful mobster who puts against himself a great deal of policemen and even Dexter himself because of brutal murder by proxy in which a cop and his wife died.
Link Dexter and his young son Harrison played by Jadon Wells, 7. To see him carry her body out to his boat and travel towards the oncoming Hurricane Laura, was also possibly the only touching moment of the episode. It may have been naive to believe that this unbidden monster of nature, would swallow them up together in some heroic gesture of brotherly love by Dexter, but at least it would have been a significant end. The question of “what about Harrison?
As to Saxon, who up until now looked like the only one capable of outsmarting Dexter where other killers have tried and failed, he also gets brought to a swift end once it’s clear that Debra is dead.

Played with in season three. Assistant DA Miguel Prado accuses his rival defense attorney Ellen Wolf of being one of these for “gaming the system” to let criminals off the hook. She in turns accuses him of judicial misconduct to get convictions. Miguel is eventually revealed to have manipulated Dexter all along to learn the art of murder from him. Miguel lacks the very integrity that he accuses Ellen of not having as he not only wants to subvert the legal process to kill criminals, but anyone who pisses him off.

A Result and a Prologue 1. From a private hospital for the insane near Providence, Rhode Island, there recently disappeared an exceedingly singular person. He bore the name of Charles Dexter Ward, and was placed under restraint most reluctantly by the grieving father who had watched his aberration grow from a mere eccentricity to a dark mania involving both a possibility of murderous tendencies and a profound and peculiar change in the apparent contents of his mind. Doctors confess themselves quite baffled by his case, since it presented oddities of a general physiological as well as psychological character.
In the first place, the patient seemed oddly older than his twenty-six years would warrant. Mental disturbance, it is true, will age one rapidly; but the face of this young man had taken on a subtle cast which only the very aged normally acquire. In the second place, his organic processes shewed a certain queerness of proportion which nothing in medical experience can parallel.
Respiration and heart action had a baffling lack of symmetry; the voice was lost, so that no sounds above a whisper were possible; digestion was incredibly prolonged and minimised, and neural reactions to standard stimuli bore no relation at all to anything heretofore recorded, either normal or pathological. The skin had a morbid chill and dryness, and the cellular structure of the tissue seemed exaggeratedly coarse and loosely knit.
Even a large olive birthmark on the right hip had disappeared, whilst there had formed on the chest a very peculiar mole or blackish spot of which no trace existed before. In general, all physicians agree that in Ward the processes of metabolism had become retarded to a degree beyond precedent. Psychologically, too, Charles Ward was unique. His madness held no affinity to any sort recorded in even the latest and most exhaustive of treatises, and was conjoined to a mental force which would have made him a genius or a leader had it not been twisted into strange and grotesque forms.
Check out what he had to say after the jump: Is this season a new origin story? The blood is, at least in part because of his passivity in regards to killing Trinity, on his hands.

It’s the beginning of a chain reaction that will catch you if you’re not careful. He taught me that none of us are who we appear to be on the outside. But we must maintain appearances to survive. But there was something Harry didn’t teach me. Something he didn’t know, couldn’t possibly know. The willful taking of life represents the ultimate disconnect from humanity.
It leaves you an outsider, forever looking in, searching for company to keep. Morgan is a serial killer who only kills people who themselves are murderers. He is portrayed by Michael C. Dexter follows a set of rules taught to him by his foster father, Sgt. Only kill people who are themselves killers, be absolutely sure a prospective victim is guilty before taking action, and meticulously dispose of evidence to avoid getting caught. He is also obsessed with routines and rituals.
